the final flash of the outgoing sunlight hit my eyes, startling me like almost like a slap in the face.

Even more surprising was the electric touch of his hand resting upon my shoulder as i sat with my arms wrapped around my knees.

"Hey. Lets run," he whispered into my ear enticingly.
"But..." I protested, not sure.
"No buts," He said as he grabbed my hand and pulled me up into his chest, of my wavering and unsteady feet. "If we dont at least get away for awhile... How will we know if we're missing anything?" A crooked smile greeted me as my eyes peered up at him. "C'mon!"
He grabbed the lifejackets and clipped one around my waist. He grabbed my hand. I plopped into the boat, mirroring the grin he had molded permanently to his face.
He pulled the cord to start up the boat. And just like that... we were gone...

Go suck it if you're gonna bitch at me for a stupid story.

XDDD
